"How much should I trust an AI to run my business" is the right question to ask, and it deserves a specific answer rather than a reassurance.
The honest tiered model
Not every decision gets treated the same way. NUA AI operates on a confidence-scored tier: high-confidence, low-risk actions can execute automatically; lower-confidence or higher-stakes actions route to a one-tap approval; genuinely uncertain situations are simply flagged for a human to decide.
What typically sits in each tier
- Automatic: routine reorder quantities within historical range, minor rostering adjustments within budget
- Approval required, larger-than-usual purchase orders, discounts outside normal range, schedule changes affecting labour cost meaningfully
- Flagged only: anything the system doesn't have enough signal to score confidently
You set the boundary, not us
The threshold for what auto-executes is configurable per venue. An operator who wants tighter oversight can require approval on more; one comfortable with more automation can loosen it. There's no universally correct setting, it depends on risk tolerance and how established the venue's patterns are.
Not "the AI runs everything". It's "you decide how much runs itself, and everything that does is logged and reversible." That's a meaningfully different, more honest claim.
